Mini Mom and Me Session | Kristen W.

May kicked off a series of of Mini Mom and Me sessions in honor of Mother’s Day. Kristen was my first session and her and her baby girl took some of the most beautiful photos. These were taken at the picturesque Edgewood Park in New Haven, CT. If you have never been or are scouting locations in New Haven; I highly recommend this location. Hope you enjoy these images!

Mini Mom and Me Session | Nicole D.

I recently had the pleasure of participating in a fun family session workshop a few weekends back. I along with other photographers had the opportunity to photograph 3 families. The workshop took place at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford, CT… officially my new favorite place to host a session. Here are some images from the first session of the day! Additional posts coming soon with others.

Raquel and Baby Mia

I had the pleasure of  connecting with Raquel who was looking to have some photos taken of herself and her baby. We settled on doing a mini portrait session. And I just say Baby Mia was the sweetest baby… not a tear in sight! I swear she was born camera ready. We held our session at Kenosia Park in danbury and it was the perfect Spring day; warm and sunny. Here are a few stand out shots from the session. Click here to view the entire gallery!

P.S. I have openings for my Mini Mommy and Me sessions in honor of Mother’s Day. Click here for details or contact me to book!

The List, a weekly round up

The weekend is finally arriving in a matter of hours. This week was short; I spent Monday recovering from a busy easter weekend and preping for a short work week. Today, will be a bit more laid back mostly because it’s so dreary and cold outside. I have a two shoots this weekend (fingers crossed) to prep for and some things to wrap up. Hope everyone has a great weekend and here are a few things that kept me motivated this week.

  1. I’m currently reading Side Hustle: From Idea to Income in 27 Days by Chris Guillebeau. Great book, not too long and offers advice straight up with no chaser. This book is currently help shape my business.

  2. Bokeh Podcast, I recently stumbled upon this in a search. Great insight, there’s a ton of eposides to choose from and it’s easy to find a topic you want to learn about. Great for a long commute.
  3. Currently in the market for a on camera flash. Considering purchasing this one by Neewer to help me experiment.

I would love to know what inspires you. Share in the comments!
